As a brand, we listened carefully to consumer feedback and knew there was an opportunity to improve the taste and texture of our bars. We knew that there were things our fans loved—including the crispy texture, being gluten-free, high in protein but not sugar and Non-GMO Project Verified. With all of that in mind, we saw it as an opportunity to re-invent our bars while still maintaining what makes our bars unique.
Inclusions like whole almonds, dark chocolate chips, oats, toasted coconut, peanuts and flax seed are all elements that complement the light, crispy texture of our bars. Focusing on plant-based protein allows us to appeal to a wider variety of snackers, while helping us to improve the taste of our bars.
