As with most shelf stable products, our products are low in water activity and are generally considered low risk for food safety concerns (it does not promote growth of mold, bacteria, etc.). However, it is important to note that the quality of the bar deteriorates over time. The storage conditions and protective packaging play a big part in how well the bar is maintained. We are not able to assess these conditions, therefore, we cannot guarantee the quality or safety of the bars past the suggested Best Before date.
